The reason..

The reason I started this blog was in hope to improve my photography. To step outside of the bounds and start using my camera to it's fullest capablity. Well.. After several months of comment on as many as 30 photos.. good and bad... those get paid to take pictures and us who are merely trying to inprove. I gave up. I gave up because I was sick of commenting on all those blog and only having 3 or 4 people look or comment on mine. You know if people take the time to comment on your blog.. be courtiuos and take 5 minutes and do the same. I know you can only take so many photos of my pups but it is the same with kids.. Especially when you can see that their expressions and poses look forced. So here is my baby working out... and today I have added pictures from a recent trip and some sunsets..

POTD 6/5/07

This is a little guy that hangs out near my office.. I am sitting on a hill on the edge of the Old Melbourne Cemetery. This is the closest I could get a picture of him without falling into the canal below me.. He was sitting there yesterday but I did not have my camera. I brought my camera today and at lunch I passed him but the light was way too bright and I was late getting back from work. The water surrounding him was a gift from Tropical Storm Barry. He dropped over 5 inches of rain on the rain deprived area. I was hoping to catch a picture with his wings spread wide but of course he is camera shy.

These cattails are sitting just below me.. See water and this has fish and probably alligators in it.. I would be a great fluffy dinner..

Night at the Museum..

Well.. Yes at the art museum.. This is Mason and Piper. They (with the guidence of mom and dad.) painted these pictures with freshly caught fish. They did this to raise money for the Melbourne Art museum. And I must say these really did help.. The combined total of their artwork was $2300. Yes that is not a typo. These two did a great job. And I must say they worked the crowd like professionals.. They greeted their fans and explained their technique.

The shuttle Lineup are party favors for the twins birthday party.. I stuffed 27 shuttle's cargo bays with party favors.. Sorry the flower is a little too dark. It was taken at dusk.

I know I have been a slacker but I have been very busy. I have been working 5 days a week and babysit most nights just so I could get my credit card paided down so I could pay off my trip. I have my airfare completely paided off and now I have to work to get my card paid off so I can buy things in England.. But here is what I captured last night. I was babysitting last night. I went out on one of the balconies and was watching the sunset and looked out and saw a dolphin surface right next to their dock. I tried to get a close up shot of the dolphin but it was heading up the river hugging the shore... I have two very crappy photos and one slightly crappy photo of the dolphin. Here is also a sunset picture..

This little bin I bought to help take scrapbook supplies to long distance crop. Well one day straighting up and threw the puppies blankets into it and next thing I knew there was this spotted creature in it. He now hops in there at least once a night..

I did not realized how bad the haze was until I uploaded the pictures. I am on my mom's computer and do not have all my little programs to fix things.
