this is my favorite color Ruby Red. It is my birthstone. Three generations of my family were born with a precious stone as thier birthstone. Me ->Ruby, Mom-> Diamond, Grandmother -> Emerald. The ring on the left was a gift and the ring on the right is my class ring (cool looking ain't it) The stone in the envelope is a 2.03 kt oval cut ruby and was won in a silent auction for $20. Last appraised at $300. I also have a cut garnet that is just as beautiful. So this is my Favorite Color...
I know the color is not the best but I just could not get the right lighting. So this is the best I could do.. It is one manual...

I agree the bottom shot seems a little soft. Neat idea though. All the women in my immediate family are born on the 26th...so I liked the journaling..
yes, those rings are beautiful! i have diamond as my stone...hehehe...make dh crazy! as for the white, maybe a cutom white balance would have helped? great composition!
